LOCHAR THISTLE UNDER 8'S VISIT TO NEWCASTLE UNITED

The Lochar Thistle under 8's recently enjoyed an excellent day out to Newcastle United to watch their Premiership match. All the players had a great day out and as our picture shows they managed to visit the club shop as well as enjoying a hospitality package. The committee, coaches and players would like to thank everyone for their support to arrange the day.

The under 8's were fortunate to receive some new training tops this week when they were presented with the new kit by Albert Reid from Reid's Amusements, Dumfries. The kids were impressed with their new kit and want to give a big thanks to Albert for supporting the club.

This photo shows Albert presenting the tops to under 8's coach Dougie Thomson and player Nial Rogerson.

The coaches, committee and parents would like to thank Albert for his support and generosity.

Cotehill & Cumwhinton Football Festival 12th June 2011

Well thats the final day of our season over and what a great day it has been. We were at Cotehill and Cumwhinton Crusaders 7 a-side festival in Carlisle. We got through the league games and played in the final where we were narrowly beaten 1 nil by a team that were a year older. What a great bunch of boys and girls you have been to coach, looking forward to next season already.
